Friday, 27th August '10 The QA's moto 'for him for her for everyone' is to true - the quaint, small but beautifully formed QA is a warm and friendly place, the bar staff are welcoming and charming - the management - the enigmatic Marc - is unique - there is always a diverse mix of people.

Friday, 6th August '10 Prides got Talent 2010. Should have been called X factor - a singing competition.. Unless you sing, forget doing anything else!
We really enjoyed Fernando Capuccino! That's what pride is all about! Fun, laughter and not some boring acoustic guitarist and singer!
Love the QA, but seriously, what was that all about in the final

Can anyone please confirm or deny that Jason Wood (aka Cher Travestie) passed away in his sleep the other night? I know he was a close friend of Bery'ls, hence why i am postin on here.
Thanks for any info you can provide, there is nothing on his website or facebook or twitter.
ThanksWe reply:
Indeed Jason has passed away and we are very saddened here at the Queens Arms. Jason was a true entertainer and will be missed so much by everyone

Monday, 17th August '09 Hi, just wondered what cabaret you have over Christmas and New Year's Eve this year. Hoping to come to Brighton for the last two weeks of the year - and you can't come to Brighton without coming to the QA!
We reply:
Hi Brett - this year on Christmas day we have the fabulous Miss Jason on at round 9.30pm. New Years wil be a brilliant night with the hilarous Kevin Cruise in cabaret plus DJs Andy B and Kamp Kevin. The rest of our Xmas entertainment is being finalised and details will be released on our website soon.

Thursday, 30th July '09 Hi Andy,
I just want to say a big thank you to you, all the judges, Spice, and everyone else involved in running Pride's Got Talent - I know all the performers and friends had a lot of fun, including myself, so I really appreciate all the work and time you put into it - it takes a lot to run something like that and I think it was done very well. I hope you had as much fun as we all did! The judges' feedback on both the auditions and the finals was really helpful too - very constructive - I'm very grateful for it.
I wanted to thank you and others on the night, I'm sorry I didn't but I had a friend giving me a lift home and she was anxious to go!
Am hoping to stop by the Queen's Arms more often - definitely on Pride night, and maybe tonight too! I really think the atmosphere there is great - very friendly.
Thanks again,
Jenny (the comedian)
